An Unforgettable Face

Just a week ago I was contacted by a friend who had volunteered her time to sit with Frankie. She called to ask if I could come photograph her for documentation of her healing. I was eager to meet this little one. I had seen something on Facebook about her. When I got there, I peeked into the stall to find a face that will forever leave a place in my heart. Through the bars I saw a fragile little foal with the heart of a fighter. Frankie, in the short time I was there, showed me that God can use even the worst of circumstances to bring people together. I have since been back one other time to record Frankie. Her courage is unbelievable. She is making great strides in her recovery. I stand amazed at the dedication Dr. Amy and her staff are putting forth to see that this little fighter heals and lives a long life. I’m so thankful that they have allowed me to capture this unforgettable face. These are the images from June 9th. ~Kelly Story
