Although I own and operate Twisted Networx, and IT service company, I’ve been doing web-design for many more years than I have most of my other skill sets. After 15 years of web-design I hit a point where I decided I was too burnt out to keep coming up with new creative content for users every month. I stopped taking on clients except on individual basis as I have time and only then if I feel I can creatively give the client something they will be happy with and that I’d be proud to put my name on.
If you’d like to take a look at some of the more recent work I’ve created, you can visit some of the following sites.
- Jordan Life:
By far the most infamous of my sites, this was started as a way to communicate with friends when I was overseas in Africa. Two years and many amazing experiences later, it remains my favorite place to put my thoughts to paper.
- Roanoke Island Bapist Church
This is the church I was raised in and still consider to be my home church. They decided they wanted to get online hard-core in 2010 and I built this for them to have a way to communicate with members who can’t make it or who are out of the country on missions trips.
- NCBBA: (North Carolina Beach Buggy Association)
NCBBA is a non-profit organization I’ve been a member of since I was old enough to walk. My mother held a position on the Board of Directors longer than any other director in the history of the organization and as such it’s always been a part of my life. They’ve gone through many growth periods with regards to the web and this site is the one I built over a six month perion starting in mid-2009 to give them a way to reach out daily to their 5000+ members. It’s less of a “web site” and more of a news-portal or communications platform to spread news about topics vital to the organization. They have full e-commerce, online forums, online voting, facebook integration, and a host of other features.
- Twisted Networx
This is my company site. And if you choose today to click on it, you’ll probably find a broken link or two that I’ve been remiss in correcting. I’m always updating it and using it for a test-bed for new ideas, kind of like I do this site you’re on now. We offer just about every IT service you could possibly ever need, so keep us in mind if you ever need assistance and think we can help!
- Remote247
This is a project idea I’m working on… Though it’s technically live, I’m not sure where I’ll take it. I’ve got the company setup and running but really I’m not sure it’s an endeavor I want to undertake. The jury is still out on that one.
- HOA Management Company
This is a property management company and long-time client of mine whom I really enjoy doing work for. They needed a quick and affordable site to showcase themselves to prospective customers in the area so we came up with this.
- Walkapaca Farms
This is the first word-press e-commerce enabled site I’ve done in many years. It uses google’s shopping cart integrated through a merchant provider to sell Alpaca supplies and merchandise produced from this local farm to the world at large. It also incorporates a database from alpacastreet.com to showcase live alpaca sales offerings for people interested in purchasing new alpacas.
- Bear Creek Veterinary Services
This is my another client company. Bear Creek Mobile Veterinary Services is a large-animal veterinary practice covering Stanly and surrounding counties. They have both on-site hospital facilities as well as mobile services to care for injured animals in the field. Their site is mainly for addressing patient-knowledge by providing information to owners about best-practices caring for their animals, as well as providing an event calendar and newsletter subscription services to owners interested in coming to local events.
- Juvoco
Juvoco is a direct sales marketing organization who wanted a business-card style website with limited information provided to the public. The idea is to get interested parties to call or email for more information. This was a little different for me because it goes against my normal grain of wanting to provide ALL the information out there to anyone who wants it. I think it came off as a success though.
